Crema-Catalan with cream, Fruit Salad with a berry sorbet and Chocolate Pudding with cream and sorbet for dessert, followed by coffee....(TL)

See, more fruit Toni...I said we would go for the 5 veg and 2 fruit...not counting the grapes or hops this time!

Now The Serious Stuff

Thrice-cooked Duck....(TL).

Lunch..or rather Linner

We arrived too late for what you could call lunch, so we showered, did washing and went to the hotel restaurant for what turned out to be a combination of a late lunch and early dinner, starting at 3:30PM and ending about 5:30PM, a great meal agreed by all - and less than €30 per head with beer and wine....(TL).

Sopa de Galacia: beans, potatoes, chorizo and a local delicacy like spinach...three veg Toni!

More Walking...

We have hit the 100km mark, now we get serious...no lolly-gagging!

After getting friendly with the sheep, Camino-Cat saw the animal in Ram
and leaped into his lap.

Que...?. Where has all the mud gone?  :-(

More Action, Less Words

We had a 24.5km walk today from Sarria to Portomarin, undoubtably the noisiest day so far. Large groups of people, walking along yelling at each other, calling to each other and laughing, with absolutely no consideration for the other walkers. Quite often we stopped for a drink of water or a short sit, whilst we let them walk into the distance out of earshot. Consequently we were an hour later getting into Portomarin. Besides the noise, it was a very pleasant walk, beautiful scenery as usual and perfect weather...even a little too warm towards the end.
When we arrived, off to the hotel for a meal. This posting will be mainly pictures and captions. Don't forget that the posts are shown in reverse order....(TL).
