The Team Introduction

Welcome to the walk of the Men Of Saint Basil's Anglican Parish, Winthrop, Western Australia.
The Team:
  • David Aslett (Ram)
  • David Baker (Compass)
  • Mal Brunning (Kernel Kluster)
  • Ray Cross (Captain Fos)
  • Arthur Dunn (TL)
Follow this intrepid team, as they navigate the last 280Km of the Camino Frances, beginning in late April 2014, walking from Astorga to Santiago, Spain.
Catch-up on the daily adventures of these hombres, as they create havoc, eat and drink their way across Spain over seventeen days.
Providing Spain survives them, the team will arrive in Santiago on May 10th, a little wiser, a little lighter and a little fitter.

The team have been in heavy training for the last six months, ably supported by their wives, for regular:
  • Walks in Bold Park, Bibra Lake and from Port Beach to Swanbourne and return,
  • Consumption of considerable quantities of wine, beer and gin-tonic,
  • Spanish Tapas (chorizo, patatas, cheeses, hamon, etc.),
  • Breakfasts at Delicious Fingers.
When the complete team get together for the next training walk or tapas training, we'll take a photo and upload to this site.

Although I am now a member of Saint Nicholas Parish, I will be on secondment back to Saint Basils periodically for the training walks, Tapas training and the walk itself.

AdiĆ³s por ahora (TL).
