Speaking of birds, our cuckoo left us overnight - today was the first time we have not heard it since leaving Astorga. We must be too close to Santiago.

Some More Woody Shots
At one stage this morning, the traffic was like the Hay Street Mall in Perth, including a blind man being guided by a young woman. We take our sight for granted, but even being able to see, the woods are a real sound-fest, with the birds chirping, water running almost everywhere, rustle of the wind in the trees and don't forget the other Pilgrims.

You must be close to finishing this part of your journey. Thank you for the pics and running commentary in parts I was there. Enjoy part two of the journey...... Presuming HJ did make her flight out of Perth !!!!! See you when you get home Ant and Karen
ReplyDeleteThanks Karen, HJ did make the flight and we are day 2 of the Morocco trip, staying tonight and tomorrow night in an unreal Riad in Fes. It must be the most luxurious place either of us have stayed in. I have some photos, but this is not the place to post them.
